Additional Information: Preheat Circuit
Preheat Circuit (Key Switch: HEAT):
- When the key switch is turned to the HEAT position, terminal B is connected to terminal R1 in the key switch.
- Current from terminal R1 excites the glow relay.
- Battery power is supplied to the glow plug from the glow relay through a 100A fusible link.
- The preheating process is carried out, with a supply provided by the glow relay.
- The glow plug relay activates the monitor unit, lighting the preheat indicator.
- Even without preheating, the indicator lights for 2 seconds to check indicator bulbs.
