ST30X and ST32 Manual Extract: Removal of Power Steering Unit

• Remove the floor mat (LH and RH).
• Detach four bolts and remove the center cover.
• Remove four screws to detach the column cover.
• Remove six screws and disconnect couplers for related wiring harness, then remove the rear cover.
• Loosen two bolts and remove two screws to disconnect the meter panel coupler and tachometer cable.
• Remove the front cover and throttle cable.
• Disconnect four hydraulic hoses from the Orbitrol power steering unit (1) as illustrated in FIG. 58.
• Remove four bolts (2) to detach the steering post from the Orbitrol power steering unit.
• Remove additional bolts (3) to fully remove the power steering unit from the steering post.
