Engine Flywheel Removal and Refitting

Removal
- Split the tractor between the engine and the gearbox (see Section 2B01).
- Immobilize the engine flywheel.
- Depending on the model, remove the shock absorber or connecting plate (refer to Part A or D).
- Remove the flywheel.
Refitting
- Inspect all components and replace any faulty parts.
- Install two guide studs in diametrically opposite positions in the flywheel attachment holes on the crankshaft.
- Reinstall the engine flywheel.
- Remove the guide studs and tighten bolts to a torque of 120 to 160 Nm (89-118 ft.lbs.) using Loctite 270.
- Reattach the shock absorber or connecting plate.
- Recouple the tractor between the engine and the gearbox (see Section 2B01).
