Usage Recommendations
- Rear transmission oil and filters ought to be replaced after the first 50 hours of operation and then every 200 hours.
- To check the transmission oil level, park the tractor on a level surface and use the dipstick: the oil should be between the upper limit mark (A) and the end of the dipstick (B). Add oil if necessary through the filler plug (2).
- When replacing rear transmission oil, ensure to remove all necessary plugs and drain completely. It’s critical to lower the three-point hitch before draining.
- Service both hydraulic and hydrostatic filters when required, and refill with the appropriate oil to the recommended levels.
- Clean the transmission filter (5) thoroughly with solvent or kerosene and ensure it’s completely dry before reinstallation. Apply sealant to threads of drain plugs before reinstalling.
Rear Transmission Oil & Filters
How It Works: The rear transmission oil lubricates the transmission, center housing, and rear axles, also serving as hydraulic fluid.
