Button Switch Testing and Troubleshooting

Condition Actuate the Parking Brake Switch. Measure the voltage from AIC connector pin 6 to chassis ground. |
Result The voltage should be approximately 24 V. Consider replacing the Instrument Cluster and retesting. |
Action If the voltage is less than 10 V, inspect the signal wire from the switch to the AIC display. Repair as needed. |
