Adjustment Procedure Overview

1. From the rear side of the transmission, use the mounting shims driver tool 380003422 on the 3rd/4th gear shift rod.
2. On the front side, install the application load handle tool 380003425 onto the gear shift rod.
3. Apply a 2 kg (4.5 lb) load using the handle to position the gear for engagement.
4. Measure and document the calibrated length using preload measure tool 380003426 for the 3rd/4th gear shift rod.
5. For 1st/2nd gear shift rods, follow the same procedure with preload measure tool 380003427.

Note: Ensure all bushings, screws, and shims are removed initially. Follow the measurement sequence precisely for correct gear shift rod adjustment.
