Front Axle Installation Steps
Important: Complete the ‘Front Axle Removal’ procedure beforehand.
- Align the front axle with the machine.
- Install a spacer between the front axle and frame.
- Position the pivot pin through the frame, spacer, and axle, but not fully through the rear pivot.
- Insert the washer between the rear axle and frame, adjusting as needed to eliminate play.
- Secure the pivot pin through to the frame and install additional snap rings and bolts.
- Connect the lubrication hose to its fitting.
- Detach and remove plugs from hoses and caps from the steering cylinder fittings before connecting hoses.
- Install wheels with bolts, ensuring not to use an impact wrench, as outlined in the ‘Front Wheels Installation’ guide.
- Remove stands and lower the wheels to the ground.
- Lubricate the axle pivot pin thoroughly.
- Verify and adjust the axle’s toe-in according to the specific four-wheel drive drawing instructions.
