Manual Extract: Arm Repair
Pressure Check Instructions
Ensure the pressure is checked under the correct conditions as it is factory preset and not adjustable.
- Ensure the hydraulic oil temperature is between 54 u2013 57 u00b0C (129.2 u2013 134.6 u00b0F). To heat the oil, follow these steps:
- Verify the oil temperature using the cab’s display by navigating to the u201cMachine Service u2013 Sensor Status u2013 Hydraulicsu201d screens.
- Start the engine and run it at full throttle.
- Hold the joystick in the ROLLBACK position while raising and lowering the lift arms from ground level to full height.
- Continue until the oil reaches the desired temperature range.
- Raise lift arms to the top and turn off the engine. Switch the ignition key to the u201cRUNu201d position.
- Repeat the joystick movement to the u201cFLOATu201d position and back to neutral quickly.
- The system should manage at least 10 actuations into float while ensuring the lift arms descend.
