Follow these steps to safely remove and install a cylinder:
- Preparation:
- Park the machine on a stable, level surface. Retract the bucket and arm cylinders fully, and rest the front attachment on the ground.
- Stop the engine and operate the control lever multiple times with the pilot shut-off lever in the UNLOCK position to release circuit pressure.
- Release any pressure in the front attachment pipe as per the HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT PRESSURE RELEASE PROCEDURE in section W4-1-1.
- Release the pressure in the hydraulic oil tank according to the BLEED AIR FROM HYDRAULIC OIL TANK procedure in section W1-4-1.
- Note: The pilot circuit is equipped with an accumulator to manage pressure release post-engine shutdown.
