Ensure optimal performance by following these steps to heat the oil in the torque converter:

1. Start the engine and allow it to run at a low idle speed.
2. Verify that the parking brake is disengaged.
3. Depress and maintain pressure on the brake pedal throughout the procedure.
4. Set the transmission range switch to the HIGH setting.
5. Select the THIRD position in FORWARD on the transmission shift lever.
6. Adjust the hand throttle to the TRAVEL (DETENT) position.
7. Increase the engine speed to full throttle and maintain this speed for one minute.
8. Reduce the engine speed to low idle, then shift the transmission lever to NEUTRAL for 30 seconds.
