Manual Extract: Cab Air Filter Removal
Instructions:
- Park the machine on a firm, level surface.
- Lower the blade and ripper tool, if equipped.
- Engage the park brake and turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
- Locate the battery master disconnect switch behind the panel on the left side of the cab.
- Switch the master battery disconnect to the OFF position. Note: Wait 90 seconds after engine shutdown before turning off the master battery disconnect to allow the SCR system to complete its purge cycle.
- Locate the cab air filter element behind the operatoru2019s compartment.
- Access the air filter using the designated steps and grab handles at the rear of the machine. Note: Configurations may vary.
- Remove the screws from the outer cover of the air filter element.
- Remove the outer cover of the air filter element.
- Remove the screws from the inner cover of the air filter element.
- Remove the inner cover of the air filter element.
- Carefully extract the cab air filter element.
- Remove any debris from the housing of the cab air filter element.
