Pressure Check Instructions
- Park the machine on a level surface. Position the backhoe in its transport state and lower the loader bucket to the floor.
- Turn off the engine, activate the ignition switch and the pilot control switch. Use the pilot and loader controls to release any system pressure.
- Attach a pressure gauge capable of measuring at least 345 bar (5000 psi) to the “M” port using adapter 101792A1 on the backhoe valve. Refer to page 16 for more details.
- Ensure the oil reaches operational temperature. To heat the oil, follow these steps:
- With the engine at full throttle, hold the loader control lever in the ROLLBACK position for 15 seconds.
- Shift the loader control lever to the NEUTRAL position for another 15 seconds.
- Repeat the above steps until the oil temperature reaches 125u00b0F (51u00b0C) or until the reservoir side feels warm.
- Start and run the engine at high idle and apply a stabilizer over relief. Record the pressure reading.
- Compare the obtained reading with the specifications outlined on page 3 of the manual.
- Adjust the load sense relief valve if the pressure setting does not meet the specified requirements.
Usage Recommendations
- Always follow safety precautions while performing maintenance tasks to avoid accidents.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good condition before starting any procedures.
- Consult the detailed manual for more in-depth information on system specifications and troubleshooting tips.
