Step-by-Step Instructions for Removal
- Ensure the loader is parked on level ground; lower bucket to the ground.
- Put the transmission in NEUTRAL, apply the parking brake, and shut down the engine.
- Deactivate the master disconnect switch.
- Clean all dirt and grease from the steering priority valve and surrounding area. Refer to the illustration on page 11.
- Remove the hydraulic reservoir fill cap.
- Connect a vacuum pump to the hydraulic reservoir and start the pump.
- Tag and disconnect all hoses attached to the steering priority valve.
- Loosen and remove eight bolts and four split flanges.
- Remove the high-pressure pump discharge tube and discard the old O-rings.
- Support the steering priority valve, and remove the mounting bolts.
- Extract the steering priority valve carefully.
