Step-by-Step Instructions for Removal

1. Ensure the loader is parked on level ground; lower bucket to the ground.
2. Put the transmission in NEUTRAL, apply the parking brake, and shut down the engine.
3. Deactivate the master disconnect switch.
4. Clean all dirt and grease from the steering priority valve and surrounding area. Refer to the illustration on page 11.
5. Remove the hydraulic reservoir fill cap.
6. Connect a vacuum pump to the hydraulic reservoir and start the pump.
7. Tag and disconnect all hoses attached to the steering priority valve.
8. Loosen and remove eight bolts and four split flanges.
9. Remove the high-pressure pump discharge tube and discard the old O-rings.
10. Support the steering priority valve, and remove the mounting bolts.
11. Extract the steering priority valve carefully.
