Track Adjuster Removal and Installation Guide

Before removing and installing the track adjuster, ensure that the tracks have been previously removed. Please follow the steps below:

Removal Steps

CAUTION: Use special care with tools and parts due to their weight:

– Special tool (ST 1651) weight: 56 kg (125 lb)

– Track adjuster assembly weight: 370 kg (820 lb)

1. Install the special tool (ST 1651) onto the yoke of the front idler.
2. Hoist and secure the track adjuster assembly using a vise.
3. Ensure the track adjuster is set horizontally by attaching weights to the special tool.
4. Pull out the track adjuster assembly and attach nylon slings to facilitate safe handling.
5. Hoist and secure the assembly before removing the special tool and track adjuster.
