Manual Extract: Clutch Oil Pressure Measurement Procedure

1. Lower the boom to the lowest limit, and position the bucket on the ground.
2. Set the parking brake to the “ON” position.
3. Place the transmission shift lever in the neutral position.
4. Turn off the engine. Attach the pressure gauge to the designated port. If needed, connect a tachometer to the engine. Position them inside the operator’s area, then restart the engine.
5. As the clutch oil pressure increases post engine start, adjust to specified speed before measuring.
6. Record the pressure for each speed range.
7. Change the transmission speed range while maintaining the shift lever in neutral. Monitor that pressure briefly drops post-speed change, then returns to original levels.
