Instructions for Specific Tasks
Removing Lower Roller
- Loosen the excavator and lift the machine approximately 30 cm.
- Place a wooden block under the lower roller and loosen the four roller mounting bolts.
- Remove the bolts and extract the lower roller.
Installing Lower Roller
1) Evenly apply Loctite #242 (locking compound) to the lower roller mounting bolts.
2) Align the bolt holes of the lower frame and lower roller, then temporarily tighten using a small ratchet wrench.
Note:
a. If bolts are difficult to turn or issues are found, remove and inspect the threads.
b. Avoid using an impact wrench for temporary tightening.
3) For final tightening, use a torque wrench and tighten bolts to the specified torque.
