Disassembly Instructions
Brake Pedal
- Remove the right-hand side step.
- Detach the HST pedal (for HST model).
- Remove spring lock pins (12) and disconnect the brake rods (10), (13).
- Detach return springs (9), (11).
- Remove the external snap ring (7) from the brake pedal shaft (1).
- Remove clevis pins from brake pedal LH (5) and clutch pedal (2).
- Separate right and left brake pedals from the brake pedal shaft (1).
- Extract the brake pedal shaft (1) to the left, along with the clutch pedal (8).
Parking Brake
- Unscrew lock nuts and remove parking brake rods (15), (19).
- Extract spring lock pins (12), (14) and disconnect brake rods (10), (13).
- Disconnect parking brake arm (16) from parking brake lever plate (21).
- Remove clevis pin (17) and extract parking brake arm (16) and arm shaft (18).
- Remove parking brake lever (20) and lever plate (21) as a unit.
Reassembly Instructions
- Apply suitable grease to the brake pedal shaft.
- Ensure correct adjustment of brake pedal free travel and parking brake lever travel (refer to pages S3, S4).
