Manual Extract: Separation of the Engine from Clutch Housing
- Drain the transmission oil.
- Remove the hood and other parts.
- Take off the bolt from the 4WD shaft-cover and remove the 4WD shaft-cover from the front axle pivot.
- Disconnect the wire harness connectors at the bottom right of the steering wheel column.
- Remove the throttle wire.
- Disconnect the fuel pipe from the fuel filter. Note: Plug the pipe to prevent fuel spillage.
- Remove the fuel filter and filter support.
- Disconnect the delivery and suction pipes from the gear pump.
- Remove the fuel tank with its bracket.
- Remove all bolts except one securing the engine and clutch housing. Important: Keep one bolt for safety to prevent premature separation of the engine and clutch housing.
- Use wooden blocks between the front axle and the front axle bracket on both sides to secure the engine.
- Support the transmission case with a floor jack, hoist the engine with a chain block, then remove the last bolt.
- Carefully separate the engine from the clutch housing.
