Fault Code Diagnosis: Code SA 03 SPN 521469 FMI 02

- Check the Sensor Adjustment
- Turn the key start switch to the “off” position.
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the “off” position and remove the key.
- Remove, clean, and reinstall the speed sensor.
- Turn the battery disconnect switch and the key start switch to the “on” position.
- Operate the engine at low idle and check for active diagnostic codes.
Expected Result: SPN 521469 FMI 02 is not active.
Solution: If active, proceed to the next steps.
- Check the Return Circuit
- Turn the key start switch and battery disconnect switch to “off.” Remove the key.
