Hydraulic System Handling Instructions

IMPORTANT: When removing hoses and pipes containing hydraulic oil, collect the oil with a suitable container to avoid spills. Always cap the open ends when hoses and pipes are disconnected. Attach identification tags for easy reassembly. After removing clips that secure hoses, ensure to reinstall them after reattachment.

Removal and Installation of Travel Device: Instructions Extract

1. Position machine for inspection and maintenance. (Refer to W1-5-1.)
2. CAUTION: Release any pressure from the hydraulic oil tank. (Refer to W1-5-1.)
3. Detach track (1). (Refer to W4-6-1.)
4. Remove four bolts (2) and washers (3). Remove cover (4). Use 22 mm wrench.
5. Disconnect two hoses (6). Use 41 mm wrench.
6. Detachment of hose (7). Use 27 mm wrench.
7. Disconnect hose (8). Use 17 mm wrench.
8. CAUTION: The travel device (5) weighs 485 kg.
9. Secure nylon slings to travel device (5), hoist and hold it. Remove 20 bolts (9) and washers (10). Remove travel device (5) from track frame (11). Use 30 mm wrench.
10. Remove adapters with the travel device (5) if necessary.
11. Repeat the process for the other travel device as described in steps 2 to 9.
