Adjusting the Pump PC Valve Procedure

If you experience a reduction in engine speed or working speed under increased loads, and the pump discharge pressure and LS differential pressure are normal, follow these steps:

• Before loosening the locknut, make match marks.
• Loosen locknut (1) and adjust with adjustment screw (2).
• Since the PC valve is eccentric, monitor engine speed to determine the correct direction for turning the adjustment screw.
• After adjusting, ensure locknut (1) is tightened.
