Governor Shaft Instructions:

1. Remove the pump cover.
2. Remove the external snap ring from the governor shaft.
3. Pull out the governor shaft.

Reassembly Instructions:

• Ensure the external snap ring is correctly assembled on the governor shaft.
• Verify smooth rotation of the governor shaft.
• IMPORTANT: When replacing the ball bearing of the governor shaft, fit the bearing securely to the crankcase. Apply adhesive (such as Three Bond 1324B) to the set screw and fasten it until its tapered part contacts the ball bearing’s end.
