Example Manual Procedure: Bleeding the Line Break Safety Valves
If there are delays or irregularities with the hydraulic cylinders, the LBS valves may need bleeding. Follow these steps:
- Lower the attachment to the ground for easy access to the LBS valve and bleeder screw.
- Loosen the bleeder screw 40 by approximately one full turn.
- Activate the pilot control valve fully, in the direction of the locked movement by the LBS valve, for around a minute or until bubble-free oil flows from the bleeder screw.
- Tighten the bleeder screw 40 back to the recommended torque after completion.
